President
Financial Officer		 Trudy Sorenson Ms. Sorenson worked three years as a loan officer at a title company and also worked in the accounting department for a large company. She attended college at Southern Utah University in Cedar City, Utah focusing her studies on Business and Finance.  Trudy has been highly involved in education and providing opportunities for parent choice in education for the past seven years.  Ms. Sorenson is a founding member board member of North Star Academy. email
Vice President Pam Van Wagoner Ms. Van Wagoner graduated from Weber State University with a B.S. degree in Early Childhood Education.  While at Weber State University, she earned the “Outstanding Student in Early Childhood Education” award.  Ms. Van Wagoner has been highly involved in education for many years; serving on the executive board of the local chapter of the PTA before becoming a founding member of North Star Academy. email
Board Member Natalie Hall Ms. Hall graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. degree in Marketing.  She has been involved with various public relations campaigns and event planning.  Ms Hall has been involved with the PTO since the school opened in 2005 and served as President of the PTO during the 2008-09 school year.  She has also been involved in the community as a flute teacher and chairman for several music organizations. email
Parent-Elect Board Member Jen McClees Ms. McClees has been involved in improving education for 18 years. She was involved in an advanced reading program and school community council for a local public elementary school. She was PTA President twice, Vice President, and fundraising coordinator for the local chapter. She has been part of North Star Academy since 2005 serving on the dress code committee, PTO President, and Middle School VP. She also loves to be involved in the classroom. email
Secretary Jody Rowser Ms. Rowser has been involved with education at North Star Academy for the past five years.  She has volunteered regularly in her children’s classes while serving on the PTO Executive Board as Elementary Vice President and Treasurer.  She worked for an architectural firm in accounting for several years and has attended classes in accounting at the University of Utah and Utah State University. email
